Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, uploading media or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked here. You must be at least 18 years old or have authorization from a parent or legal guardian. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization.

2. Our service

VideoEdit provides professional video-editing services with quality review where included in the selected plan. Features may include trimming, pacing, colour and audio correction, transcription, captions, reframing, branding and export. Editing results can require revisions, and quality review does not guarantee a particular creative or commercial result.

3. Your media and instructions

You keep ownership of your uploaded media. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, process, modify and transmit it only as needed to provide, secure and support the service. You confirm that you own the media or have all permissions required for the people, music, trademarks and other content it contains.

You must not upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive or exploitative content; malware; content that violates another person’s privacy; or material you are not permitted to process. We may pause or refuse a project when reasonably necessary for safety, legality or rights protection.

4. Output and intellectual property

After full payment, you may use the delivered edit for lawful personal or commercial purposes, subject to rights in your source material and any separately licensed stock media, fonts or music. We do not claim ownership of your final video. You remain responsible for checking factual claims, captions, clearances and suitability before publication.

5. Prices, taxes and payment

Prices are displayed in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise and exclude applicable taxes. GST/HST is calculated at checkout based on the customer’s location. Provincial sales tax is collected only where InfoSoft Technology Inc. is registered or otherwise required to collect it. One-time projects are charged at checkout; subscriptions renew at the disclosed interval until cancelled. Payment processing may be provided by Stripe, and we do not store complete card numbers.

6. Delivery, revisions, cancellations and refunds

Estimated delivery windows begin only after successful payment and receipt of usable media and a complete brief. They are estimates, not guarantees. The applicable Plans & Delivery, Cancellation, and Refund & Revision policies form part of these Terms.

7. Accounts and security

You are responsible for accurate account information and for protecting login credentials. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. We may suspend access to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law or address unpaid amounts.

8. Availability and third-party services

The service may rely on hosting, payment, storage, media-processing and communications providers. We work to provide reliable access but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security events, internet failures or third-party outages may delay processing.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. InfoSoft Technology Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity or publication decisions based on an output. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. We will not use an amendment to remove rights that already apply to a completed purchase. These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Mandatory consumer protections remain in effect.
