1. Scope and accountability
InfoSoft Technology Inc. is responsible for personal information under its control. This policy is designed to address applicable Canadian privacy laws, including British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act and, where applicable, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
2. Information we collect
- Account and contact details, including name, email and organization.
- Uploaded videos, photos, audio, logos and related metadata.
- Editing instructions, feedback, revision requests and support communications.
- Transaction details such as plan, amount, status and payment identifier. Stripe processes complete payment-card details.
- Technical and security information such as IP address, browser, device, access time, logs and cookie identifiers.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the requested editing service; create and deliver outputs; manage accounts, payments, subscriptions and support; prevent abuse; protect the platform; meet legal and accounting duties; and communicate essential service information. Marketing messages require any consent required by law and include an unsubscribe option.
4. Media processing and quality review
Uploaded media and instructions may be processed by our editing, storage and infrastructure providers and reviewed by authorized editors only to perform the service. We require service providers to handle information only for contracted purposes and with appropriate safeguards.
5. Sharing and international processing
We may share information with payment, cloud storage, media processing, communications, analytics, security and professional-service providers. Some providers may process information outside Canada, where it can be subject to local law. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a properly managed corporate transaction.
6. Retention and deletion
Unless a longer period is requested or legally required, source media is automatically removed 30 days after project completion and final deliverables are automatically removed after 90 days. Project completion means the date the first cut becomes ready, or the approval date when approved later. Account, transaction and consent records may be retained longer for legal, tax, security and dispute purposes. Backup copies are removed according to secure backup cycles.
7. Security
We use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls, encrypted transmission, restricted service access, logging and provider security controls. No online system can guarantee absolute security. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will investigate and provide notifications required by law.
8. Your choices and rights
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent where legally available, ask questions about processing, or request deletion subject to legal retention requirements. We may need to verify your identity. Contact info@infosofttech.ca.
9. Cookies and minors
We may use essential cookies for login, security, checkout and preferences, plus optional analytics only with any consent required by law. The service is not directed to children under 13. A minor must use the service through an authorized parent or guardian.
