Cancellation Policy

Clear cancellation rules for one-time edits and monthly plans—without hidden penalties.

Effective August 24, 2026 · InfoSoft Technology Inc. · Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada

1. One-time video projects

You may cancel a one-time project for a full refund before media processing or editing begins. Contact us promptly with your order email and project number. After processing begins, a change-of-mind cancellation is generally not refundable because computing and editing work has already been committed; however, our Refund Policy and all mandatory legal rights continue to apply.

2. Monthly subscriptions

The VideoEdit Monthly plan renews at $299 CAD each month until cancelled. You may cancel renewal at any time without a cancellation fee or penalty. Cancellation stops future renewals; unused credits remain available until the end of the already-paid billing period but do not roll over. Unless required by law or covered by our Refund Policy, cancelling does not create a prorated refund for a billing period already underway.

3. How to cancel

  1. Use “Manage subscription” in your account when available; or
  2. Email info@infosofttech.ca from the address associated with the account.

We will confirm the effective cancellation date by email. Keep that confirmation for your records. We will not require a telephone call as the only cancellation method.

4. Renewal and plan changes

The checkout page will clearly identify recurring charges. Material changes to renewal terms, price or cancellation rights will be communicated in advance as required by law. A plan upgrade may take effect immediately with a disclosed adjustment; a downgrade normally begins at the next billing period.

5. Our cancellation of service

We may suspend or cancel a project for non-payment, unlawful or prohibited content, rights concerns, abuse, security risk or material breach of the Terms. When cancellation is not caused by customer breach, we will provide a fair refund or credit for undelivered services. We may preserve records where required for legal, security or dispute purposes.

6. Mandatory rights

Nothing in this policy limits cancellation rights that apply under British Columbia’s Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law. Where legislation provides a stronger right, the legislation controls.
